Your Role

As an Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you will work with us to design powerful control and electronics solutions. You will be jointly responsible for the interface between hardware and software and will help to further improve our products and enable new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of embedded components for our film scanners
  • Hardware and software development for the control of various hardware modules
  • Design, development, and optimization of control and regulation systems 
  • Developing hardware and software for sensor integration and data evaluation
  • Active participation in an agile, multidisciplinary development team, including requirements coordination, peer reviews, and project documentation

Your Qualifications 

  • Degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of sensor and actuator technologies
  • Proficiency in embedded development using C/C++
  • Familiarity with hardware design tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
  • Experience in FPGA programming, particularly with VHDL
  • Working knowledge of I²C and CAN bus protocols
  • Strong analytical thinking, teamwork skills, and a structured work style
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English communication skills
