NAB LAS VEGAS 2023

NAB 2023 was great. You could literally feel the excitement of the visitors to finally be back to an (almost) normal NAB. Although visitor numbers were around 2/3 of pre-Covid levels (around 65.000 visitors), we met almost all our US based customers, but also many EMEA and APAC based customers and partners. Meetings were divided evenly over the four days of the fair and our stand in Central Hall proved to be very good. DFT presented the new DFT POLAR HQ native 8K film scanner, which is the all-new perfect solutions for film archives around the globe, that need to deal with historic critical and difficult to scan material. Also on display was a prototype of the new DFT POLAR HQ Smart Motion WetGate, that will be released in summer 2023.     

Cube-Tec and Prasad US were co-exhibitors at DFT’s stand, presenting their solutions around Cube-Tec’s INSPECTIONscan and Prasad’s scanning and restoration services for archive customer.     

Next year DFT will be exhibiting again at NAB 2024, then we will be exhibiting in the (then newly refurbished) South Lower Hall.
